Logitech is pushing gaming mouse technology forward with the Pro X2 Superstrike, its first wireless gaming mouse to use analog sensors powered by haptics instead of traditional mechanical switches. Set to launch early next year for $179.99 (around ₱10,500 before taxes), the Superstrike introduces features more commonly seen in gaming keyboards, such as rapid trigger support, into the mouse world.
At the heart of the new design is Logitech’s Haptic Inductive Trigger System (HITS). The system provides simulated click feedback through haptic actuators, with a shallow 0.6mm travel per main button. Logitech claims this analog system reduces latency by up to 30 milliseconds, offering faster input response. The mouse also supports 10 customizable actuation points for fine-tuned control.
Rapid trigger support makes the Superstrike particularly interesting for competitive players. The feature allows the click sensor to reset as soon as the button is slightly lifted, enabling quick successive inputs with minimal effort. Players can configure up to five rapid trigger reset points in Logitech’s G Hub software, giving them granular control over how sensitive their clicks should be.
The mouse weighs 65 grams and carries Logitech’s Hero 2 sensor, capable of an 8,000Hz polling rate when paired with the included Lightspeed USB-A dongle. While such high polling rates may exceed the limits of most human reaction times, Logitech suggests the combination with rapid trigger could offer an edge for professional and esports players. The Pro X2 Superstrike is also compatible with Logitech’s Powerplay 2 wireless charging mousepad.
Alongside the Superstrike, Logitech also announced the Superlight 2C, a smaller and lighter version of the Superlight 2. Weighing 51 grams and trimmed down by five percent in size, the 2C is designed for gamers who prefer a more compact mouse without sacrificing performance. It retains the same core specs as the Superlight 2 and will launch on October 21 for $159.99 (around ₱9,300 before taxes).
