Logitech is pushing gaming mouse technology forward with the Pro X2 Superstrike, its first wireless gaming mouse to use analog sensors powered by haptics instead of traditional mechanical switches. At the heart of the new design is Logitech’s Haptic Inductive Trigger System (HITS). Logitech claims this analog system reduces latency by up to 30 milliseconds, offering faster input response. Players can configure up to five rapid trigger reset points in Logitech’s G Hub software, giving them granular control over how sensitive their clicks should be. The mouse weighs 65 grams and carries Logitech’s Hero 2 sensor, capable of an 8,000Hz polling rate when paired with the included Lightspeed USB-A dongle. While such high polling rates may exceed the limits of most human reaction times, Logitech suggests the combination with rapid trigger could offer an edge for professional and esports players. The Pro X2 Superstrike is also compatible with Logitech’s Powerplay 2 wireless charging mousepad. Alongside the Superstrike, Logitech also announced the Superlight 2C, a smaller and lighter version of the Superlight 2.
