Riot Games is bringing its popular tactical shooter, VALORANT, to mobile devices, aiming to deliver the same precise gunplay and strategic team-based combat that fans love. Co-developed with Tencent's Lightspeed Studios, known for PUBG Mobile, VALORANT Mobile is set to launch its closed beta in China on June 12, 2025. These specifications indicate Riot's commitment to making VALORANT Mobile accessible while maintaining performance standards. In addition to the game's launch, Riot is also introducing VALORANT Mobile to the esports scene. This event is part of a strategic partnership with smartphone manufacturer OnePlus, which will serve as the official hardware partner for VALORANT Mobile esports competitions. The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro smartphone will be the designated device for these events, highlighting the company's focus on gaming performance. While VALORANT Mobile is currently available for pre-registration only in China, Riot has not yet announced a global release date. The show is currently in pre-production and will draw inspiration from both Clash of Clans and its spinoff Clash Royale, two of the most successful mobile games globally, boasting over 4 billion downloads and 180 billion hours of gameplay combined.
