Samsung has introduced its latest line of monitors for 2025, combining productivity, creativity, and immersive gaming in one showcase. The announcement came during the “Redefine Vision AI: Samsung One Monitor Launch” held in partnership with PC Express at Cyberzone, SM Makati, where the tech giant revealed its new Smart Monitor M9, ViewFinity S8, and Odyssey OLED series.
Samsung Philippines President Minsu Chu said the launch reflects the company’s drive to push the limits of display technology. “At Samsung, we’re always challenging what’s possible to deliver better performance and optimized features for our users through innovative display technology,” Chu noted. “As we introduce these new monitors, we look forward to empowering our users in different aspects of their daily life—whether that be at work or home.”
PC Express, one of the country’s leading tech retailers, partnered with Samsung to showcase the new products, offering a full lineup of monitors and gaming gear tailored to different lifestyles.
The highlight of the launch was the Smart Monitor M9, Samsung’s first OLED-powered monitor to incorporate Vision AI features. Equipped with 4K AI Upscaling Pro, the monitor sharpens lower-resolution content into near-4K quality. The OLED panel delivers deeper blacks and richer color contrast, supported by Glare-Free technology for sharp visuals even in bright rooms. For gamers, the M9 provides a 165Hz refresh rate and automatically adjusts picture settings depending on the type of game being played, promising a smooth and immersive experience.
For creators and professionals, Samsung introduced the ViewFinity S8, a massive 37-inch 4K display, currently the largest 16:9 4K monitor in its class. The ViewFinity S8 is designed for color accuracy, featuring a 99% sRGB color gamut, making it especially appealing to designers, photographers, and content creators who rely on precise, true-to-life visuals. Its wide canvas also supports multitasking and productivity, allowing users to handle complex projects with ease.
On the gaming side, the Odyssey line took center stage. The new Odyssey 3D 27-inch monitor brings glasses-free 3D visuals to gaming, using advanced eye-tracking and a proprietary lenticular lens. The result is a natural-looking 3D image that enhances depth and realism. It also comes with AI-powered 3D video conversion, capable of adding dimension to regular content.
Another standout is the Odyssey OLED G8, a 32-inch QD-QLED display with 166 pixels per inch for crystal-clear visuals in 4K. Its 240Hz refresh rate and lightning-fast 0.03 ms response time make it ideal for competitive gaming. The monitor is certified with VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400, ensuring vivid colors and rich blacks, while Glare-Free technology keeps visuals sharp day or night.
To protect its displays, Samsung has integrated OLED Safeguard+, which works alongside a dynamic cooling and thermal modulation system to prevent screen burn-in and keep the panels performing at their best over time.
