When Nintendo unveiled Mario Kart World during an April Direct, the Free Roam mode was billed as a sandbox playground where racers could explore diverse zones, from sunny beaches to icy peaks, discovering hidden challenges and joining friends online. As someone who leans more into the playing side of the game, the amount of levels and worlds available to me has essentially given me an endless amount of Mario levels to play. It's no secret that the Nintendo Switch Online's collection of games is nothing short of underwhelming, with only a handful of classic games from the NES and the SNES, like the original Mario games, Super Metroid, and the Donkey Kong series.
