Netmarble unveiled its latest title, Solo Leveling: KARMA, at Anime Expo 2025 in Los Angeles. The new game brings a fresh perspective to the Solo Leveling universe as a roguelite action RPG set to debut on PC, iOS, and Android, with no release date yet confirmed.

Rather than retelling the anime or webtoon canon, KARMA ventures into an unexplored chapter of Sung Jinwoo’s journey—a 27-year-long Monarch War within the Dimensional Gap. This time-lost segment of the story has never been elaborated on before in the original material. Players will lead Jinwoo through this hidden era as he seeks to restore the Broken Cup of Reincarnation, an artifact linked to his shattered memories .

The teaser trailer offers a dynamic showcase of gameplay, featuring Jinwoo wielding weapons like daggers, scythes, and bows, engaging in fast-paced hack-and-slash combat from an isometric viewpoint. Players battle against visually imposing foes from the series—including Cerberus, Hobgoblin Leader, and the Statue of Cartenon Temple .

Game systems blend roguelite elements with iconic features from the franchise. Players can summon Shadows such as Iron and Igris, chain combo-driven attacks, and unlock strategic “Blessing” upgrades that affect skills and stats. Each run promises variation, replayability, and long-term progression. The tone and action evoke comparisons to titles like Hades and Diablo, but with Solo Leveling’s over-the-top flair.

KARMA follows Netmarble’s successful adaptation Solo Leveling: ARISE, released in May 2024, and precedes the upcoming Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE, which is slated for Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2026. While no pre‑registrations are currently available, the developer promises more details, beta access, and launch promotions in months to come.

With its mix of intense combat, unused lore, and roguelite progression systems, Solo Leveling: KARMA aims to appeal both to die‑hard fans and newcomers who enjoy action-packed, replayable experiences. Its ambitious scale and cinematic ambition could make it a standout anime‑inspired RPG of 2025.
