EA has revealed the final system requirements for Battlefield 6, and they are surprisingly modest. Even players with hardware that is several years old will be able to join the fight when the game launches on October 10, 2025.
At the minimum settings, Battlefield 6 only needs an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600, paired with a GeForce RTX 2060, Radeon RX 5600 XT, or even an entry-level Intel Arc A380. That means a six-year-old GPU is still enough to run the game at 1080p and 30 FPS on low settings. Storage requirements have also been lowered from 75 GB to 55 GB, thanks to EA’s fragmented installation feature, which lets players install only the parts of the game they need.
If you want a smoother experience at 1440p and 60 FPS on high, the recommended specs call for an RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT, with a Core i7-10700 or Ryzen 7 3700X. These are still mainstream parts that won’t break the bank, making the game accessible to mid-range setups.
For those with high-end rigs, Battlefield 6 can be pushed to 4K at 60 FPS on Ultra settings or 1440p at 144 FPS on high. EA recommends pairing an RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XTX with an Intel Core i9-12900K or Ryzen 7 7800X3D. You’ll also need at least 16 GB of RAM (or 32 GB for Ultra).
The developers have kept the requirements reasonable to ensure as many players as possible can jump in, especially since Battlefield 6 will include a free-to-play Battle Royale mode, which is likely to attract a massive audience. With launch just weeks away, EA is also teaming up with Intel to offer free copies of the game with select CPUs and GPUs.
Battlefield has always been known for large-scale, visually stunning battles, but this time, EA is making sure the game doesn’t shut out players with older machines. Whether you’re gaming on budget hardware or the latest high-end setup, you’ll be able to join the fight when Battlefield 6 drops this October.
