But with stiff competition from Riot Games’ Valorant and EA’s Battlefield soon to come with mobile versions as well, Call of Duty: Warzone mobile will be in a aggresively competitive field. Activision has announced the discontinuation of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, just over a year after its global release on March 21, 2024. The decision to discontinue Warzone Mobile highlights the challenges of adapting console and PC gaming experiences to mobile platforms. In a surprising turn for mobile shooters, Activision announced on May 16 that Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will be removed from the App Store and Google Play on Sunday, May 18, 2025.
