Blizzard has announced that it is no longer developing new content for its mobile game Warcraft Rumble. Around 100 Blizzard developers were impacted, and many of them worked on Warcraft Rumble. According to the company, Warcraft Rumble struggled to meet its goals. The game was Blizzard’s first mobile-only title set in the Warcraft universe. At one point, Blizzard was also working on a second mobile game similar to Pokémon Go, but that project was canceled in 2022 before it was officially revealed. This move puts Warcraft Rumble in the same category as other Blizzard games that have stopped receiving updates, such as Starcraft II and Heroes of the Storm. Fans of Warcraft Rumble can still enjoy the game, but its future will now be limited to maintenance and small seasonal changes.
