Capcom, Aniplex, and JOYCITY have announced Resident Evil: Survival Unit, a new real-time strategy game coming to iOS and Android. Described as a tactical twist on the Resident Evil universe, the game is being built specifically for mobile platforms, with input from Capcom to ensure it stays true to the series. While no release date has been confirmed, the project is part of Capcom’s broader push into mobile, alongside recent ports of Resident Evil 4 Remake and Village on iOS. The announcement comes just months after Capcom revealed Resident Evil: Requiem, the next mainline entry arriving in early 2026. The game will be available on iOS and Android, with pre-registration now open on the App Store and Google Play. Bungie’s Destiny franchise is officially expanding to mobile with Destiny: Rising, a free-to-play sci-fi RPG shooter launching on iOS and Android on August 28. NetEase Games, in collaboration with Joker Studio, has announced Sea of Remnants, a free-to-play oceanic adventure RPG set to release in 2026 for PlayStation 5, PC via Steam, iOS, and Android. Capcom has officially announced Resident Evil Requiem, the ninth mainline installment in its iconic survival horror series, during the Summer Game Fest 2025.
