Nintendo, in partnership with Capcom, has announced at E3 2019 that two more Resident Evil game titles, Resident Evil 5 and 6, will be joining the roster for the Nintendo Switch port this year. Resident Evil 5 follows boulder-punching Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar as they fight through a zombie-infested city in Africa where they are tasked to stop bio-organic weapons (BOW) being sold in the black market there. For Resident Evil 6, you will have to control multiple iconic characters from past RE games and make way into each of their stories in the game. The Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 is coming to the Nintendo Switch console this Fall of 2019. Nintendo is sticking to its decision on the price of the new Switch 2, even after being asked if it’s too pricey for younger gamers. In response, Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa explained that while the Switch 2 is more expensive than older consoles, it offers better features and a more exciting gaming experience. Capcom, Aniplex, and JOYCITY have announced Resident Evil: Survival Unit, a new real-time strategy game coming to iOS and Android. Described as a tactical twist on the Resident Evil universe, the game is being built specifically for mobile platforms, with input from Capcom to ensure it stays true to the series.
