Nintendo's upcoming Switch 2 console is introducing a new twist in how players can access and share digital games—one that might just bring back the spirit of borrowing and reselling physical media in the digital age. During the Switch 2 reveal event, Nintendo’s Tetsuya Sasaki confirmed to GameSpot that these key cards are not permanently tied to any single Nintendo account. Nintendo of America president Doug Bowser told The Verge that this hybrid model benefits publishers, especially those whose games are too large for standard cartridges. Note: List only includes games for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Wii U, PC. It’s a new year, and one of the things we’re excited about this 2023 is the launch of new video games both on the PC as well as consoles such as the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch. Do note that the games are listed chronologically by release date.  Fire Emblem Engage The first to kick off the new year is Nintendo with the release of Fire Emblem Engage this coming January 20. Both games are now playable for everyone who has a subscription on Nintendo Switch Online. The Nintendo Switch's ability to go from on your TV to your backpack is something that is unmatched in today's gaming space, so it's come to no surprise that our favorite hybrid console has a fair share of both online and offline games.
