Nintendo has officially announced the latest Nintendo Switch OLED along with its specs, pricing, and target release date. According to Nintendo, the new display will feature a more vivid and power-saving screen compared to the original Switch. However, Nintendo has officially told The Verge that the new system "does not have a new CPU, or more RAM, from previous Nintendo Switch Models." It will also remain with 1080p output on docked mode rather than an upgrade to 4K resolution. All previously released Joy-Con for Nintendo Switch are compatible with this new model. While fully compatible with most games released in the older models, the new console's display will not yet be able to support all the design parameters of the Nintendo Labo series. The Nintendo Switch OLED is priced at USD 349.99, and it will be officially released on October 8. Infinity Ward is leading development, and the game lands on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC (via Steam, Battle.net, and Xbox on PC), and for the first time in franchise history, Nintendo Switch 2. The Nintendo Switch 2 version is being developed by Digital Legends, separate from the main build.
