Back in 2015, Techland released an open world FPS survival horror in the form of Dying Light. Now, at E3 2018, its sequel was announced aptly named Dying Light 2. Dying Light 2 adds in more mechanics to its management elements as the goal of the game now is to revive the City for the remaining survivors. Dying Light 2 is set to arrive on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC with no official release date yet. Techland will be offering ‘free tickets to Harran’—the post-apocalyptic setting of Dying Light—starting April 6th. In an announcement, the seven-year-old game will be free on the Epic Games Store, specifically the Dying Light Enhanced Edition. While it may feel a bit dated in 2023, it is still worth checking out, especially that Techland has done an excellent job of keeping up with content updates and of course its sequel, Dying Light 2. Dying Light is a post-apocalyptic open-world game that blends parkour and first-person combat.
