Dota's take on the famous Dota 2 custom map, Auto Chess, called Underlords is now in open beta stage. Valve has made an independent game called Dota Underlords on both Steam and mobile which has the core mechanics of the Auto Chess custom map. Made with Source2 game engine, the game features the hero roster of the Dota 2 game. Riot Games is bringing in a new game mode in League of Legends called Teamfight Tactics that is very similar on how the DoTA custom map, Auto Chess, works. The company also specifically stated that this game mode is actually inspired by the DoTA Auto Chess map inside the DoTA 2 game which recently had a stand-alone mobile game. Mithra has granted full athletic licenses to Philippine DotA 2 groups TNC Pro Team and Execration, who will both compete in this year's The International 7  in Seattle, Washington. What a season it has been for DotA 2 and for the Philippines after our country’s representative, TNC Pro team, has won the championship title and took home big winnings of two of the largest electronic sports game competition across the world – The International 2016 (TI6) and World Electronic Sports Game 2016 (WESG).
