Pokemon GO Unleashes Tinkatink Evolutions in Gen 9 Celebration Event

Pokemon GO is ready to level up its Gen 9 roster as it introduces the much-anticipated Tinkatink evolutionary line during the upcoming Pokemon Horizons: The Series Celebration event. Kicking off on April 16, 2025, at 10 am and running until April 22 at 8 pm local time, this special event promises to delight trainers with fresh content and exciting gameplay enhancements.

The spotlight of the event is on Tinkatink, which can be hatched from 7 km eggs during the celebration. Once hatched, players will have the opportunity to evolve Tinkatink into Tinkatuff using 25 Tinkatink Candy, and further upgrade to the fan-favorite Tinkaton with 100 candies—a nod to the popularity of Scarlet and Violet’s beloved Pokemon. This expansion of Gen 9 content builds on previous updates that brought Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly, Lechonk, Pawmot, Shroodle, Grafaiai, and Paldean Tauros to the game.

In addition to the new Pokemon, the event will feature a variety of bonuses designed to enrich the gaming experience.
