#ROG Ally Xbox

Microsoft is testing a new feature in its Xbox app for Windows 11 that could make gaming on a PC, especially handhelds, much easier. The Xbox app simply launched those programs directly. Possible prices for the upcoming ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X handheld consoles have leaked online. The ROG Xbox Ally may cost around €599 (₱37,000+), while the Ally X could go up to €899 (₱55,000+). The ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X are expected to launch worldwide during the 2025 holiday season, so by Christmas next year, they might land in PH stores, too. This open platform is what enables the cheeky twist: since Sony has released PC versions of its exclusives—God of War (2018) and God of War: Ragnarok—through Steam, Xbox Ally owners can download and play those epic action titles on a portable device for the first time. Microsoft’s move positions the Xbox Ally line as direct competitors to Valve’s Steam Deck and Nintendo’s upcoming Switch 2. By uniting Xbox Game Pass, cloud gaming, console remote play, and full PC flexibility, these handhelds blur the lines between traditionally siloed ecosystems.
