Capcom has officially brought the chilling survival horror experience of Resident Evil 3 to Apple devices. This marks another bold step in Capcom's effort to make its critically acclaimed Resident Evil series accessible across multiple platforms, further expanding its footprint in mobile and Mac gaming. Originally launched in 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Resident Evil 3 is a modern reimagining of the PlayStation classic that introduced gamers to Jill Valentine’s harrowing escape from a zombie-infested Raccoon City. This release makes Resident Evil 3 the fifth major Resident Evil title available on Apple devices, following the mobile and Mac versions of Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 7, and Resident Evil 2. Thanks to the power of the M1 chip and its successors, Resident Evil 3 runs smoothly on macOS, delivering console-level visuals and performance. Capcom, Aniplex, and JOYCITY have announced Resident Evil: Survival Unit, a new real-time strategy game coming to iOS and Android. Described as a tactical twist on the Resident Evil universe, the game is being built specifically for mobile platforms, with input from Capcom to ensure it stays true to the series.
