#PS5 September Update launch

Sony's second major PS5 system software update is rolling out to all PS5 owners globally today, September 15. The update includes a variety of enhancements to the PS5 console experience as well as 3D audio support for built-in TV speakers. • Game Library and Home Screen updates - If you have PS4 and PS5 versions of the same game installed, they’ll now appear separately in the “Installed” tab of the Game Library and on the Home screen. What's more, the PS5 September Update adds support for players to experience 3D audio through their built-in TV speakers. The game is set for a worldwide release on September 18, giving fans and new players alike a chance to secure rewards before the launch. The NBA 2K26 bundle will launch first in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand on September 12, followed by Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam on September 18. The game itself releases worldwide on September 5 for PS5 and PS4. Netmarble has confirmed that The King of Fighters AFK, its newest idle RPG, will officially launch worldwide on September 4 for both Android and iOS.
