PlayStation revealed on their website that they’ll release later this year their newest loyalty program, the PlayStation Stars. The PlayStation Stars is free for everyone to join when it officially launches later this year. There’s what they call a “Monthly Check In” campaign which is straight forward that a player needs to play a game to get rewards. The Loyalty points can be redeemed using a player's PSN wallet then select the PlayStation Store Products. An additional benefit for members is that they’ll automatically earn points for every purchase on the PlayStation Store. PlayStation is currently doing their early testing of this new loyalty program before rolling it out later this year which will be done per phase and per region. Sony’s PlayStation Stars loyalty program is back in the spotlight, this time for reinstating a fan-favorite reward: wallet funds. For many, it was one of the most practical perks of the program, allowing them to offset costs on the PlayStation Store.
