For the first time since the league began in 2023, all three top teams are from the region: Thailand’s Talon, Indonesia’s Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ), and Singapore’s Paper Rex. The finals are being held this weekend in Tokyo, Japan, where Paper Rex and RRQ will battle for the championship on Sunday, August 31, at 2 p.m. Paper Rex claimed the Masters Toronto title earlier this year, while RRQ won the previous stage of VCT Pacific. Singapore’s Paper Rex have once again proven themselves kings of the Pacific after beating Indonesia’s Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ) 3-1 in the VCT Pacific Stage 2 Grand Finals on Sunday, August 31. With the win, Paper Rex lock in the Pacific region’s first seed at VALORANT Champions 2025, while RRQ secure the second. Paper Rex’s journey was smooth compared to RRQ’s uphill battle. The series opened on Bind, where Paper Rex jumped ahead 10-3 by halftime. On Haven, Paper Rex regained their composure, taking an 8-4 lead at halftime.
