#NVIDIA DLSS 2.0

Epic Games will add NVIDIA enhancing graphics technologies such as RTX, DLSS 2.0, and Reflex to the game Fortnite for better gameplay experience. The game will add four ray-traced features including ray-traced light reflections, shadows, illumination, and ambient occlusion for a more immersive experience. Moreover, Fortnite players will be able to upscale its output resolution up to 4K through the NVIDIA DLSS 2.0. One of the standout features of this update is the optimization for NVIDIA DLSS 4, particularly benefiting games like Black Myth: Wukong. In a new blog post, Nvidia confirmed that the Switch 2 will support DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling)—a major feature from its lineup of desktop and laptop GPUs. While Nvidia hasn’t specified which version of DLSS will be included, the tech's presence alone signals a massive leap from the original Switch’s modest graphics. Nvidia is gearing up for the launch of its GeForce RTX 5000 series GPUs with a major AI-driven upgrade—DLSS 4. DLSS 4 represents the next evolution of Deep Learning Super Sampling, Nvidia’s AI-powered upscaling and frame-generation technology. While DLSS 4 will be exclusive to RTX 50-series GPUs at launch, Nvidia has hinted that older RTX GPUs may receive a limited update in the future to enable some level of frame generation.
