at Epic Games Store, ARK: Survival Evolved and Samurai Shodown NeoGeo Collection are now this week’s free game offered by Epic Games.  Developed by Studio Wildcard, the former is an RPG adventure game that tests the player's survival skills. Stuck on an island with other players, you have the choice to either kill or tame primeval creatures and use it to your advantage to escape and defeat opponents.  Apart from the game, Epic also offers the Ark Modkit and other add-ons for free. Until May 10, 2020,  players can get the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game for free. As of this writing, there are no words yet from Bandai Namco about its free-to-play version for the Nintendo Switch. High on Life 2 is upping the craziness of its comedy shooter world, not just with new weapons and characters, but also by sneaking in fully playable retro games. The sequel looks to take this concept further by offering classic games that can be played directly in-game. During a gameplay demo at Gamescom 2025, fans got a sneak peek of how this works. While Squanch hasn’t revealed the full list of titles, the promise of “more than five” playable games has fans speculating what other oddball classics could appear.
