Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has detailed the specs and features of their upcoming console, the Xbox Series X. According to the post, the Xbox Series X will come with custom-designed AMD Zen 2 CPU, which is the same architecture of AMD's current 3000-series Ryzen chips. In terms of desktop hardware, the RDNA 2 based GPU on the Series X would sit in between an NVIDIA RTX 2080 Super (11.15 TFLOPS) and the RTX 2080ti (13.45 TFLOPS). For storage, the Xbox Series X will come with (presumably) a PCIe Gen 4 SSD for faster load times. The Xbox Series X will also come with an HDMI 2.1 port to accommodate the features that the hardware can deliver. As for compatibility, the Xbox Series X is compatible with four generations - all the way up to the original Xbox. Microsoft has unveiled the full specs of its upcoming console, the Xbox Series X. Unlike previous generations, the Xbox Series X promises 4K 60 FPS gaming with an option to go as high as 120FPS, speedy load times, and compatibility with up to four generations.
