Fresh off their championship win at the Collegiate Center for Esports (CCE) League Season 4, Viridis Arcus will compete against top student esports teams from around Asia. Campus Game Fest, organized by the Singapore Cybersports and Online Gaming Association (SCOGA), is a major annual event that celebrates the growing world of student esports. The participation of these student-athletes is part of CCE’s Next Gen Program, which encourages up-and-coming esports talents by offering a platform to hone their skills and gain exposure to international competition. As the global esports industry continues to expand, this opportunity allows players from the Philippines to build experience and connect with a broader esports community, potentially opening doors for professional careers. The Collegiate Center for Esports has tied up with Galaxy Racer to bring competitive esports gaming to the Collegiate level in the Philippines. With the rapid growth of the Philippine Esports market, there are over 43 million active gamers presenting a wide range of opportunities for the industry. With this in mind, Galaxy Racer, together with the Collegiate Center for Esports, has started grassroots leagues and programs for the collegiate level.
