BERLIN — Acer is raising the stakes in the gaming PC market with the launch of new Predator and Nitro devices at IFA Berlin, Europe’s biggest tech expo. Acer said the laptop supports desktop-level AI computing, making it suitable for developers and content creators who need high performance on the go. Acer also rolled out its latest desktops, the Predator Orion 7000 and Orion 5000, along with the Predator X27U F8 monitor, which boasts a 720 Hz refresh rate aimed at competitive gamers. The company’s more budget-friendly Nitro line also made waves. Acer unveiled new Nitro V 16 laptops, configurable with an Intel Core 9 Processor 270H, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU, up to 32 GB DDR5 RAM, and 2 TB PCIe Gen 4 storage. The Nitro V 16S was also introduced, targeting casual gamers and new players. A standout addition is the Nitro Google TV monitor series, including the Nitro GA321QK P and the curved Nitro GA341CUR W0. Finally, Acer presented the new Nitro 70 and Nitro 50 desktops, powered by AMD Ryzen processors.
