BERLIN — Acer is raising the stakes in the gaming PC market with the launch of new Predator and Nitro devices at IFA Berlin, Europe’s biggest tech expo. The lineup includes laptops, desktops, monitors, and gaming accessories designed for both hardcore players and creators.

Leading the charge is the Predator Helios 18P AI, an 18-inch laptop built not just for gaming but also for heavy productivity tasks like coding, video editing, and AI development. Acer said the laptop supports desktop-level AI computing, making it suitable for developers and content creators who need high performance on the go.
The Helios 18P AI can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 285HX, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with DLSS 4, up to 192 GB of ECC memory, and as much as 6 TB PCIe Gen 5 SSD storage. Its large 16:10 display is designed for demanding creative workflows like 3D rendering and image generation.
Acer also rolled out its latest desktops, the Predator Orion 7000 and Orion 5000, along with the Predator X27U F8 monitor, which boasts a 720 Hz refresh rate aimed at competitive gamers. Another highlight is the Predator Z57 curved MiniLED display, offering a massive 7680 x 2160 resolution for immersive visuals.
The company’s more budget-friendly Nitro line also made waves. Acer unveiled new Nitro V 16 laptops, configurable with an Intel Core 9 Processor 270H, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU, up to 32 GB DDR5 RAM, and 2 TB PCIe Gen 4 storage. The Nitro V 16S was also introduced, targeting casual gamers and new players.

A standout addition is the Nitro Google TV monitor series, including the Nitro GA321QK P and the curved Nitro GA341CUR W0. These monitors double as 4K Google TVs, allowing users to switch easily between gaming and streaming platforms like Netflix. With refresh rates of up to 240 Hz, they also cater to casual gaming.
Finally, Acer presented the new Nitro 70 and Nitro 50 desktops, powered by AMD Ryzen processors. The updated cooling system reportedly delivers 15 percent more airflow compared to previous models, ensuring smoother performance during long gaming sessions.
With this lineup, Acer is pushing further into the high-performance gaming space while also appealing to creators and casual gamers who want versatile machines.
