North American mobile esports team Blood Thirsty Kings (BTK) is making a strong comeback as they officially join the Honor of Kings competitive scene. This move follows their recent disqualification from the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (MSC), where they were removed for playing another game during the tournament period. Now, they’re turning a new page with Honor of Kings.
BTK is not new to the spotlight. The team has fans across the globe and a reputation for delivering intense and skillful gameplay. With their full lineup intact, Michael “MobaZane” Cosgun, Ian “FwydChickn” Hohl, Jang “Hoon” Seong-hun, Ziameth-Jei “ZIA” Caluya, Vo “Shark” Trung, and Carlos “Bestplayer1” Ortega Vega, BTK is ready to take on a fresh challenge.
Some of the players have already tried Honor of Kings casually and through streaming, and they’ve shown clear interest in the game’s fast-paced action and unique mechanics. MobaZane said the team is learning quickly and is excited to compete against the best in the world. He called the game refreshing and said they’re determined to make their mark.
Their entry into Honor of Kings shows a new start after the MSC incident. Instead of staying down, BTK is aiming to rebuild their competitive journey.
James Yang, Senior Director of Global Esports at Tencent Games, welcomed BTK to the fold. He said BTK’s decision proves how appealing Honor of Kings has become for professional teams and hopes their story will motivate more players to try competitive esports.
BTK’s first match in Honor of Kings is highly anticipated as fans wait to see if the team can rise again and dominate a new battlefield.
