Razer Huntsman Mini now official

Razer recently unveils its compact mechanical keyboard, the Hunstman Mini.

The keyboard features a matte, aluminum casing and keys. For further customization, it is compatible with most standard keycaps sets and features a standard bottom row to be compatible with the brand’s PBT keycap upgrade sets and most standard keycaps. Users may use either the Razer’s braided USB Type-C cable or their own for connecting the keyboard to their gaming station.

It sports onboard memory and lighting preset which can be further personalized with the Razer Chroma RGB lighting. Users may choose among the following lighting profiles: Static, Breathing, Spectrum Cycling, Wave, Starlight, and Reactive.

Decreasing its size up to 60% from its older sibling, the Razer Huntsman Mini eliminates function row, home cluster, and the number pad. However, these keys are still accessible through the side-printed, secondary function, and shortcut keys. Gamers may assign shortcut commands on the keys via Razer Hypershift within Razer Synapse 3.

The Hunstman Mini is available in two optical switches: a clicky purple switch with an actuation force of 40g and a 2nd generation linear red switch with an actuation force of 45g, respectively. Compared to the previous linear switches of Razer, the latter is equipped with sound dampeners to reduce noise.  Both models come in Black and Mercury colorways.

The former can now be purchased at the Razer website and authorized dealers in the US for USD 119. Meanwhile, the linear red switch model will be available on August 2020 for USD 129.
