Smart Omega, the official esports team, supported by Smart, is one of the local teams representing the Philippines in the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M2 World Championships. Apart from Smart Omega, Bren Esports will also represent the Philippines in the mentioned competition. Both teams are members of the Smart-backed Philippine Esports Organization (PESO), the official National Sports Association that governs and develops esports in the country. The Smart Omega Mobile Legends team is composed of six members: Kenneth Jiane “Kenji” Villa, Jeniel “Haze” Bata-anon, Salic “Hadji” Imam, Earin John “Heath” Esperana, Jankurt Russel “Kurttzy” Matira, and Adrian “Toshi” Bacallo. Veteran Mobile Legends player Joshua "Ch4knu" Mangilog has officially parted ways with Smart Omega, ending a long-time partnership that brought fans many memorable moments in the MPL Philippines. Known for his shot-calling skills and smart plays, Ch4knu helped Smart Omega reach solid finishes in Seasons 8 and 9 of MPL PH. Now that his chapter with Smart Omega is closed, fans are eager to know what’s next for the roamer.
