Samsung, in partnership with Microsoft, recently announced its new Mixed Reality headset (MR) dubbed the Samsung HMD Odyssey. The new Samsung HMD Odyssey features a dual 3.5-inch AMOLED displays and a 110-degree field of view that allows users to discover paramount virtual experiences around them. “We’re excited to welcome the Samsung HMD Odyssey to the Windows Mixed Reality family of devices. With the Samsung HMD Odyssey, the team at Samsung has developed a Windows Mixed Reality headset that will delight our fans looking to immersive themselves in the world of mixed reality this holiday", said Alex Kipman, a Technical Fellow at Microsoft. The Samsung HMD Odyssey is priced at $499 (~Php25,446.50) and is now up for pre-order in the US. The said headset is expected to available later this year in the US, China, Korea, Brazil and Hong Kong. Samsung Electronics has officially entered the gaming notebook market with the unveiling of the Samsung Notebook Odyssey series, available in 17.3-inch and 15.6-inch models. The Samsung Notebook Odyssey is equipped with a 7th-gen Intel Core i7 processor (Quad Core 45W) and HexaFlow Vent for cooling and ventilation.
