Riot Games has announced that they will be introducing a new game launcher soon. In terms of what it will look like, Riot mentioned that all games have their dedicated landing page with game-specific details and dynamic call to action. The new Riot Games launcher will begin rolling out on September 20. Gamescom 2026 has officially wrapped up, and this year’s event in Cologne, Germany was packed with major reveals, long-awaited sequels, surprise announcements, and plenty of games for attendees to get their hands on. The Witcher 3's remaster and Songs of the Past won the gamescom award for Best Trailer / Announcement, while the game's booth also won the Jury Award for Best Booth.
