Capcom has officially announced Resident Evil Requiem, the ninth mainline installment in its iconic survival horror series, during the Summer Game Fest 2025. Resident Evil Requiem introduces players to a new protagonist, FBI agent Grace Ashcroft, who is investigating a series of mysterious deaths at the Remwood Hotel—the same location where her mother, Alyssa Ashcroft, was murdered eight years prior.
