Nintendo has released detailed membership plans, pricing, and features of their upcoming online paid service called Nintendo Switch Online. To give you a recap, Nintendo Switch Online was announced in June 2017. It is a paid service similar to the PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold that lets Switch owners enjoy online multiplayer gaming among other features. Nintendo Switch Online features include: • Coop gameplay for compatible games like Splatoon 2, ARMS, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Mario Tennis Aces, and Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido. • Save Data Cloud Backup • Support for Nintendo Switch Online app • Special offers Nintendo is offering two types of memberships - Individual and Family. The Nintendo Switch Online service will launch in September 2018. Nintendo is sticking to its decision on the price of the new Switch 2, even after being asked if it’s too pricey for younger gamers. In response, Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa explained that while the Switch 2 is more expensive than older consoles, it offers better features and a more exciting gaming experience.
