#new games to play PS5

Electronic Arts recently announced to bring some of their video games on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Series S. With backward compatibility on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S, gamers can play several EA games such as Star Wars: Squadrons, EA SPORTS UFC 4, NHL 21, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered, Apex Legends, and The Sims 4. High on Life 2 is upping the craziness of its comedy shooter world, not just with new weapons and characters, but also by sneaking in fully playable retro games. The sequel looks to take this concept further by offering classic games that can be played directly in-game. During a gameplay demo at Gamescom 2025, fans got a sneak peek of how this works. While Squanch hasn’t revealed the full list of titles, the promise of “more than five” playable games has fans speculating what other oddball classics could appear. It’s a new year, and one of the things we’re excited about this 2023 is the launch of new video games both on the PC as well as consoles such as the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch.
