#Mortal Kombat Xbox Series X

Interactive Entertainment and Digital Eclipse have officially revealed the final lineup for Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, confirming several long-lost titles and rare versions of the iconic fighting series. The collection, set for release in 2025, brings together more than a decade of Mortal Kombat history, spanning from the franchise’s 1992 debut to handheld Game Boy Advance entries. The biggest surprise is the inclusion of the WaveNet edition of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, a version that has not been playable since it appeared briefly in arcades in 1997. The Kollection also adds two PlayStation-era titles that have been difficult to access for decades: Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero (1997) and Mortal Kombat Special Forces (2000). confirmed Mortal Kombat Trilogy (1996), newly optimized for modern platforms with faster load times, making gameplay smoother than ever. Digital and physical versions of Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection will be widely available. The digital release is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2, with a launch date to be announced later. Physical copies for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2 are scheduled to ship on December 12, 2025.
