Capcom just dropped a teaser for the next big update to Monster Hunter Wilds, and it’s coming this September. After a string of cheeky social-media teasers, the publisher all but confirmed that a Street Fighter 6 x Monster Hunter Wilds collaboration is on the verge of being revealed, with a dedicated trailer scheduled to drop later today, May 22 (PHT). These limited-time events traditionally award themed layered-armor sets, weapon skins, and Palico gear, echoing earlier crossovers that let hunters cosplay as Ryu and Sakura back in Monster Hunter World. Monster Hunter Wilds smashed company records with 10 million units sold in just one month after its February launch, thanks in part to day-one cross-play and a streamlined “Focus Mode” that welcomes newcomers. Stay tuned to Capcom’s official YouTube and Monster Hunter social channels later today for the full unveil.
