Monster Hunter Wilds Set for Big Update This September with New Monster and Event

Listen to article

Capcom just dropped a teaser for the next big update to Monster Hunter Wilds, and it’s coming this September. While they didn’t give an exact date yet, Title Update 3 is expected to arrive late in the month and bring plenty of new content for fans to enjoy.

The game launched last February and has already made a name for itself. It sold over 10 million copies in just two months and became the fastest-selling game in Capcom’s history. It also scored big with critics, sitting at 89 on OpenCritic. Since release, Capcom has been rolling out updates that fix bugs, add new features, and keep players coming back for more.

This next update will include a new monster, though Capcom hasn’t said which one just yet. Based on the last update, fans can expect something exciting, especially for hunters who are looking for fresh challenges.

Also teased is the Festival of Accord, a limited-time seasonal event launching alongside Title Update 3. While Capcom hasn’t revealed full details, past events like Blossomdance gave players exclusive rewards and cosmetics, so players can likely expect the same.

However, even with all this, the game’s player count on Steam has dropped sharply, reportedly down by 98%. Still, many fans remain hopeful, knowing that Capcom is actively supporting the game with new content like this.

Stay tuned, more details about the update and event will likely drop in the coming weeks.
