From the creators of Observer (2017), Blair Witch (2019), and The Medium (2021), Bloober Team has announced a definitive remake of the original Layers of Fear (2016) and its sequel, Layers of Fear 2 (2019). Layers of Fear 2 and Costume Quest 2 are this week's free games at the Epic Games Store. As a first-person psychological horror game,  the Layers of Fear 2 lets players be in the shoes of a Hollywood actor who heeds the call of an enigmatic director to take on the lead role in a film shot aboard an ocean liner. Players must explore the world around them.
