Layers of Fear 2 and Costume Quest 2 are this week’s free games at the Epic Games Store.
As a first-person psychological horror game, the Layers of Fear 2 lets players be in the shoes of a Hollywood actor who heeds the call of an enigmatic director to take on the lead role in a film shot aboard an ocean liner. Players must explore the world around them. They should discover the past and expose the reason for having been cast for the film.
Developed by Double Fine, Costume Quest 2 is a turn-based, adventure game that follows candy-crazed crusaders who must travel through time to save Halloween from the villainous dentist of Auburn Pines. The characters may explore various time-traversing landscapes while wearing their new costumes that transform into powerful Hallo-warriors, and collect Creepier Treat Cards to wield in combat against a legion of villains and enemies.
Costume Quest 2 and Layers of Fear 2 are available until October 29, 2020, at 11 PM on the Epic Games Store. To claim and download the game, simply log on to your account and click on the ‘Get’ button.
