Intel is set to unveil significant updates for its Arc GPU lineup during a live-streamed event on December 3, 2024. Intel hinted at the upcoming announcement in a post on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “We’ve got some big graphics news,” and adding a follow-up hint: “Going from A to B.” According to reports from VideoCardz, Intel is preparing to launch two new GPUs under its Battlemage series: the Arc B580 and Arc B570. These GPUs are rumored to introduce upgrades that aim to position Intel as a stronger competitor in the mid-range GPU market, dominated by NVIDIA and AMD. The Arc B580 is reported to feature 20 Xe2 cores, a 2.8GHz GPU clock, 12GB of VRAM, and a 192-bit memory bus. On the other hand, the slightly less powerful Arc B570 is said to come with 18 Xe2 cores, a 2.6GHz GPU clock, 10GB of VRAM, and a 160-bit memory bus.
