#Half Life Alyx release date

It’s been roughly 21 years since we followed Gordon Freeman fend off those hostile Xen creatures in the first installment of the Half-Life series, and 16 years since its sequel, Half-Life 2, was released. Through the years, Valve did release a few Half-Life related games such as the Half-Life 2 episodes which I still don’t count as a sequel since they are pretty much just expansions, in my opinion. Since Valve did just release Half-Life: Alyx, which is a virtual reality first-person shooter where players control Alyx Vance, as she and her father Eli fight the occupying alien Combine and its set in the events of the happening of Half-Life 2. While gamers anticipate the release of Half-Life Alyx, the latest installment of the Half-Life series, you can play all Half-Life games for free. Unfortunately for the people who have been waiting for Half-Life 3 for over a decade, Half-Life: Alyx is a prequel to the story revolving around Gordon Freeman's partner, Alyx Vance. Half-Life: Alyx has been making waves in the gaming scene as it's the first we've seen from the Half-Life series since 2007's Half-Life 2: Episode Two. It may not exactly be the Half-Life 3 we've all been waiting for since it is a prequel to the series' seond installment, but it's a huge release from Valve nonetheless -- due in part to it being a VR game.
