The rumor mill has been churning with excitement, and while Half-Life 3 isn’t on the horizon, fans are thrilled by the prospect of re-experiencing Half-Life 2 with RTX enhancements. Thanks to a free anniversary giveaway on Steam and a major update, Gordon Freeman's adventures have captured the attention of a new wave of players. According to SteamDB, Half-Life 2 saw a record-breaking 64,085 concurrent players on Sunday—a significant leap from its previous peak of 16,101 in August 2021.
