The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has opened the doors for colleges to offer Game Development courses and a few heeded the call. Without further ado, these are some of the country's top schools offering Game Development courses. Luckily, these schools offer a ladderized way to reach those game development dreams. These are some of the schools that offer Bachelor of Science in Entertainment Multimedia Computing, or similar Game Development courses. Asia Pacific College (Makati) The Asia Pacific College offers a four-year trimestral BS-EMC course that builds on its strong game art experience with the School of Multimedia Arts and incorporates this to School of Computer Science and Information Technology's method of iterative prototyping. They call this as “Agile Development," and harnesses Project-Based Learning (PBL) model where theories and concepts are blended with application-oriented laboratory exercises and project experiences. CIIT College of Arts and Technology (Quezon City) CIIT began with offering a two-year game development which became a full four-year college course known as Bachelor of Science in Entertainment Multimedia Computing (BS-EMC) in 2015. The school is no stranger to game development itself as its chairman, Niel Dagondon, founded Anino Games -- the country's first game development firm.
