NVIDIA gets ready for Battlefield V's open beta by releasing a Game Ready Driver update following the release of the RTX 2080 series. Aside from Battlefield V, F1 2018, Immortal: Unchained, Pro Evolution Soccer 2019, Strange Brigade, and Switchblade will also be supported in the update. The Battlefield V will start its open beta on September 4, 2018, for EA Access, Origin Access, and Origin Access Premier subscribers or for those who pre-ordered the game on PC, Xbox One, or PS4. The light and textures all refracting throughout the scene really do result in amazing reflections and shadows. This was especially apparent in Battlefield V and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, two upcoming games whose demos I was able to play here at Gamescom. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpUm0N4Hsd8 In Battlefield, the effect was incredible, as the light from muzzle flashes, fire and explosions bounced on every surface.
