The ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced a new curved gaming monitor called the Strix XG27VQ. The ROG Strix XG27VQ also features the ASUS GamePlus hotkey in which users can adjust the overlay crosshair, timer, fps counter, and display alignment, as well as the ASUS DisplayWidget software which configures the ASUS GameVisual (made up of 7 preset display modes), App Sync, and Blue Light Filter. The ASUS ROG Strix XG27VQ is showcased at the ROG Masters at SM North EDSA Cyberzone from August 19-20, 2017 and at the Cebu Cyber Expo in SM City Cebu until August 20, 2017. PC Hub has also recently announced the soon-arrival of the ASUS' gaming monitors: TUF Gaming VG27AQGL1A ZAKU II and ROG Strix XG279Q-G GUNDAM Edition. On the other hand, the ASUS ROG Strix XG279Q-G GUNDAM Edition boasts the same 27-inch WQHD (2560 x 1440) Fast IPS panel with a 1,000:1 contrast ratio.
