While the aspects of the game have been modified to fit the Animal Crossing: New Horizon theme, Monopoly staples such as Go spaces, Jail, Free Parking, and Chance cards are still incorporated. Another cozy game is making its way to Steam, and this one might catch the attention of both Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing fans. And like Animal Crossing, the entire world is populated by cute anthropomorphic animals who give the game its charm. But with Chucklefish backing it (the same publisher behind the upcoming Witchbrook), the game might stand out as something more than just another Stardew or Animal Crossing copy. In a dazzling display of creativity, an Animal Crossing: New Horizons devotee has painstakingly recreated key cutscenes from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom—complete with dramatic ruins, airborne islands, and even a creepy undead Ganon—in the laid-back life-simulator. Ingenious use of leaf patterns and custom designs conjures Ganon’s spectral form—no small feat given that Animal Crossing offers no direct undead models.
