The company has announced that 75 games will receive “Day 0” support, meaning players can take full advantage of the Multi Frame Generation technology from the moment they install their new GPUs. DLSS 4 represents the next evolution of Deep Learning Super Sampling, Nvidia’s AI-powered upscaling and frame-generation technology. Unlike previous versions, Multi Frame Generation in DLSS 4 can generate up to three AI-generated frames for every traditionally rendered frame, offering a massive boost in frame rates while maintaining smooth visuals. Additionally, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, a game that made headlines for its extremely high recommended specs, will be receiving an update to enable Multi Frame Generation post-launch. While DLSS 4 will be exclusive to RTX 50-series GPUs at launch, Nvidia has hinted that older RTX GPUs may receive a limited update in the future to enable some level of frame generation. However, the full potential of Multi Frame Generation appears to be locked behind the upcoming GeForce RTX 5000 hardware, which Nvidia is positioning as the must-have GPU series of 2025.
