Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp has entered the battlefield, although not a sequel, Re-Boot Camp aims to bring back the classic turn-based strategy game with a remake with improved graphics and gameplay. Advance Wars 1+2 was slated for a December 2021 release, but was then delayed to release on April 8 2022. However, a few weeks ago Nintendo sent a statement pushing the release date due to "recent world events." As of right now, Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is stated to only have a 2022 release.
