MOONTON Games, the studio behind Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, is officially launching its new mobile game Acecraft worldwide on August 28. This fresh title introduces players to the world’s first fully hand-drawn, two-player co-op vertical shooter, packed with unique pilots, colorful worlds, and plenty of chaos.

To make the launch extra special, Acecraft is teaming up with the legendary cartoon duo Tom and Jerry. Known for their endless cat-and-mouse chase, the two will now bring their comedy and chaos to the skies of Cloudia in limited-time crossover events. Players can expect special rewards, themed items, and fun surprises as the duo crash into the bullet-filled battles.
The game itself offers something rarely seen on mobile, characters and worlds designed with frame-by-frame hand-drawn animation. Eight different Ace Pilots will be available at launch, each with their own aircraft, personality, and style. From Amelia’s candy-pink ride to Elsa’s sharpshooting skills, the roster promises a mix of charm and action.
Even veteran animator John Pomeroy, known for his work on Tom and Jerry, praised the animation of Acecraft, saying it shows “personality and acting” in the characters, which is no easy task. To celebrate, the developers also released a behind-the-scenes video featuring Pomeroy as he shares insights on the game’s animation and even sketches one of the pilots.

Set in Cloudia, a floating world with themed islands like Sweetopia and Ghost Swamp, Acecraft challenges players to battle the Nightmare Legion and recover the stolen Key of Destiny. With over 7 million players already signed up before launch, Acecraft is shaping up to be one of 2025’s most exciting mobile releases.
